Pokémon Presents Arrives On Pokémon Day

Dust off your PokéBalls, Trainers! A Pokémon Presents is scheduled for Pokémon Day on February 27th. Could we see more information on the next mainline entry?

Nintendo have announced the next Pokémon Presents for next week.

Pokémon Day is right around the corner, and Nintendo has announced a brand new Pokémon Presents to coincide. Though the Pokémon Presents focuses on all things Pokémon, we’re more interested in the video games side of things. It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything about the newest Nintendo Switch title on the horizon, Pokémon Legends: Z-A.

From what we do know, it’s a new entry of the well-received Pokémon Legends series that began with Pokémon Legends: Arceus back in 2022. Legends: Arceus took us far back in time to the Sinnoh region (of Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum fame), to when the area was completely different and even PokéBalls and the PokéDex were in their infancy.

Z-A is taking us to the not-too-distant future of the Kalos region, where the first mainline Nintendo 3DS titles, Pokémon X & Y, were set. We don’t currently have a whole lot of additional information about Z-A yet, but it will most likely continue the tradition of more real-time Pokémon battles from Arceus.

We’ll most likely get a look at upcoming content for the recently released Pokémon TCG Pocket game as well as various updates to other mobile titles. Who knows? Maybe we’ll see a teaser of a new mainline entry or another new game. Is there anything in particular you’re looking forward to? Let us know in the comments below!

I created this website as I feel the state of the games industry and games reporting as a whole has gotten overly negative and full of clickbait. While I understand both of these are a great way to generate engagement, it’s a detriment to those gamers (like myself) that are just trying to enjoy games and not have to worry about the negativity of the current state of the gaming industry. I want a space where gamers can come for unbiased news that doesn’t rely on clickbait or rumours with a dash of humour and have the opportunity to share their passion for games.
