The Next Pokémon Presents Arrives July 22nd
Following on from the release date announcement in May, the next Pokémon Presents is right around the corner.
The next update on Pokémon Legends: Z-A, the latest entry in the global mega-franchise, will be airing on July 22nd. The livestream, which can be viewed on the official Pokémon YouTube channel will go live at 2pm GMT+1, or your local equivalent.
The main focus will most likely be on Pokémon Legends: Z-A, but it remains to be seen if we will receive any additional information on other Pokémon titles or apps during the presentation. If it's keeping with past Presents, we can expect this one to be around the 20 minute mark.
With the recent release of the Nintendo Switch 2, it's unclear if they will utilize the increase in power of the console to showcase the new gameplay, as previous Pokémon titles have been notorious for how they perform on the aging Switch in comparison to other Switch titles. With the release of Pokémon Legends: Z-A on October 16th, it seems likely they will want to present the best possible version.
Set entirely in the Kalos Region’s Lumiose City, Pokémon Legends: Z-A has left some fans feeling a little disappointed, claiming there can't be too much to do in just one area. The city will feature Wild Zones in which players can catch Pokémon, and recent gameplay has showcased the ability to traverse the roofs of Not-Paris. It seems there will be a lot on offer due the sole focus on just one location, but only time will tell.

I created this website as I feel the state of the games industry and games reporting as a whole has gotten overly negative and full of clickbait. While I understand both of these are a great way to generate engagement, it’s a detriment to those gamers (like myself) that are just trying to enjoy games and not have to worry about the negativity of the current state of the gaming industry. I want a space where gamers can come for unbiased news that doesn’t rely on clickbait or rumours with a dash of humour and have the opportunity to share their passion for games.
