August 14th - Dorfromantik
This one is an interesting one. Dorfromantik, a strategy puzzle game where players build a scenic landscape by dropping hexagonal tiles with environment pieces on them together, spawned an actual board game that draws inspiration from the video game. Like any good puzzle game worth it's salt, Dorfromantik challenges players to solve many different scenarios, but instead of solving to progress, the puzzles create a landscape. Points are awarded for completing quests and unlock additional tiles for continued use. If you aren't too fussed on solving puzzles and would rather relax, Dorfromantik offers a creative mode to let you build to your heart's content.
