Dying Light: The Beast Delayed Into September
Developers Techland has just announced they are pushing the Dying Light: The Beast launch back a few weeks to September to allow more time for polish.
Another day, another delay. With the release of Dying Light: The Beast just a few short weeks away, it won’t be too long before we get our hands on the zombie-packed survival horror. But we will have to wait a few extra weeks, as developer Techland has announced it will be delaying the launch to September 19th, 2025, to allow time for extra polish. This news comes in spite of over 150 positive previews from journalists and content creators alike.
“We understand that this may be disappointing, but our experience has shown how important the first impression is. With just four additional weeks, we can address final details that make all the difference between good and great,” the team announced on a blog post over on their website. “Areas we want to improve include finetuning the balance of gameplay elements, looking into clarity of UI, increasing the quality of physics as well as tweaking cutscenes and player animations further as well as adding last little details.”
The team promises further updates in the extended build-up to Dying Light: The Beast’s release, including a playable demo at Gamescom for those of you lucky to make the journey out there. We’ll also receive an update on the game’s gore next week, and an opportunity to meet Bober the Beaver again.

I created this website as I feel the state of the games industry and games reporting as a whole has gotten overly negative and full of clickbait. While I understand both of these are a great way to generate engagement, it’s a detriment to those gamers (like myself) that are just trying to enjoy games and not have to worry about the negativity of the current state of the gaming industry. I want a space where gamers can come for unbiased news that doesn’t rely on clickbait or rumours with a dash of humour and have the opportunity to share their passion for games.
