Hellblade 2 Enhanced Edition Release Date Confirmed
We don't have too long to wait for the launch of Hellblade 2: Enhanced Edition as Ninja Theory announced the release date.
PlayStation players will get their hands on Hellblade II: Senua’s Saga very soon
If you have waiting patiently for the release of Hellblade 2: Enhanced Edition for PlayStation 5 or because you want to dive back in for another playthrough on Xbox or PC, you'll be happy to know that we now have a release date for the story-driven sequel.
Developer Ninja Theory has revealed the new update will launch on August 12th, 2025 simultaneously for all platforms, bringing with it a host of new features and additions. The first point of interest in this update is a pretty standard add for an Enhanced game, visual and graphical improvements in the form of a Performance Mode, bumping performance up to that sweet 60FPS people love. Those of you on PC will get access to a “Very High” fidelity option to ensure players on that platform get something new.
A new game mode will also be added as part of the update, bringing back the Dark Rot from Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, a feature that was notably absent from the sequel. Every time Senua falls in battle, the Dark Rot spreads further. If it reaches Senua's head, her quest will fail and all progress to that point will be lost.
Rounding out the package will be a new Photo Mode to help take some snaps of your gameplay to share, and developer commentary to discuss the trials and tribulations that went into designing the sequel, which is always worth checking out.
Will you be returning to the Hellblade world on August 12th? Sound off in the comments.
I created this website as I feel the state of the games industry and games reporting as a whole has gotten overly negative and full of clickbait. While I understand both of these are a great way to generate engagement, it’s a detriment to those gamers (like myself) that are just trying to enjoy games and not have to worry about the negativity of the current state of the gaming industry. I want a space where gamers can come for unbiased news that doesn’t rely on clickbait or rumours with a dash of humour and have the opportunity to share their passion for games.
