Terminator 2D: No Fate Gets Delayed Until October
Originally set to launch in September, developer Bitmap Bureau has announced Terminator 2D: No Fate will be releasing in October instead.
If you're jonesing for your next fix of 80s action movie franchises adapted to video games after finishing the excellent RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business, you'll have to wait a little longer for Bitmap Bureau’s upcoming 2D arcade-inspired action title, Terminator 2D: No Fate which has been delayed from its original early September date to late October.
Citing manufacturing issues for the physical release (thank you to Gematsu), the team will use the extra time to further polish the game before release. “Due to the physical manufacture process taking a bit longer than we thought, Terminator 2D: NO FATE will now be coming out on October 31, 2025. We're sorry for this delay, and thank you for your understanding,” Bitmap Bureau announced over on their website.
“The additional time before release will also allow our team here to work on some final refinements for the day one patch. To ensure all fans have the opportunity to experience the best version of T2D at the same time, this delay will apply to both physical and digital versions of the game,” the team added, before thanking fans for the support they have received so far, and promising additional details on the game soon.
Terminator 2D No Fate is a side-scrolling action game based on the classic Terminator 2: Judgment Day, with players taking on the roles of Sarah Connor, John Connor, and the T800 to relive iconic moments straight from the movie (the helicopter chase scene looks like it'll be a lot of fun), and fend off the T-1000. The gameplay, visuals, and music are all built from scratch, and there are multiple modes for players to play through, including Story Mode, Arcade Mode, and Boss Rush.

I created this website as I feel the state of the games industry and games reporting as a whole has gotten overly negative and full of clickbait. While I understand both of these are a great way to generate engagement, it’s a detriment to those gamers (like myself) that are just trying to enjoy games and not have to worry about the negativity of the current state of the gaming industry. I want a space where gamers can come for unbiased news that doesn’t rely on clickbait or rumours with a dash of humour and have the opportunity to share their passion for games.
