The Rogue Prince Of Persia Console Platforms Confirmed
After waiting some time for an update on The Rogue Prince of Persia’s console release, we have confirmation of the game launching on other platforms.
Though Assassin's Creed may have taken the spotlight from the fabled Prince back in 2007, fans believe there is room for both to thrive in the modern age, especially as the Prince of Persia series has returned to its side-scrolling roots.
Like the critically-acclaimed Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, the gameplay of The Rogue Prince of Persia will once again be focusing on a more traditional side-scrolling adventure over the third-person, 3D action games that were the series mainstay for a long period of time.
While we did have an idea that The Rogue Prince of Persia was also coming to consoles after it's release into early access on PC last year and it's upcoming 1.0 launch later this year, we didn't know exactly what platforms would get the game and which would be excluded. Thanks to a rating by the Australia Classification Board, we now know the 2D rogue like will be launching on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
Over on the Steam page for The Rogue Prince of Persia, we can see fans of the series have been living the title so far, as it currently sits at a “Very Positive” rating for the early access title.
