THQ Nordic Announce Summer Showcase
The summer of game news continues as publishing powerhouse THQ Nordic has announced a games showcase this August.
THQ Nordic, one of the publishing subsidiaries under Embracer Group, has announced their Digital Showcase 2025, set to take place on August 1st at 12pm PDT or your regional equivalent. Though a little light on details other than date and time, we can probably expect a few new updates on previously revealed games alongside the announcement of others.
With an impressive catalogue of titles that they've published over the years, including the likes of This Is The Police, Destroy All Humans, Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning, and Alone in the Dark, THQ Nordic has helped bring licenced games and their own IP to players for years.
Not just a publisher, THQ Nordic has a number of studios of their own under their belt, some of which already have games in development, such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin and an untitled Darksiders project helmed by Gunfire Games. We might get a look at the development of these games and other projects currently in development on August 1st as well as some new games being announced.
They've even uploaded a handy countdown timer over on the THQ Nordic website, so we can see just how long we have to wait. I'll make sure to cover everything announced, so check back in to see what they announce.
I created this website as I feel the state of the games industry and games reporting as a whole has gotten overly negative and full of clickbait. While I understand both of these are a great way to generate engagement, it’s a detriment to those gamers (like myself) that are just trying to enjoy games and not have to worry about the negativity of the current state of the gaming industry.
